Tim

Goldner

A Native of Oxford Oh. Graduate from Talawanda H.S. and Miami University in Oxford. He has been playing harmonica and singing lead vocals since 1984 and fronting his own bands since 1987. He played piano, drums, clarinet and sang in choir during his middle school years. His love of music stems from his family, music teachers and many music loving friends, from his early youth. Tim Specializes in Harmonica and vocals in different American roots styles (Blues, Rock-A-Billy, Gospel, Jazz).


Mike

Barrett

Best known for his 35 yer tenure in the very well known regional group from Cincinnati, The Modulators. Mike has a long love affair with all American Roots styles of music and has played all styles and variations (Blues, Jazz, Rock-A-Billy, Swing, Surf) having been exposed to these by age 16. Mike plays in several other local groups.





Dave

Mackey

Dave Mackey is known for his driving dance drumming style. Southwest Ohio audiences have enjoyed his performances with Wizard, Mandolin Bridge, Lisa Biales, the Mackey Brothers Band, and many others. Dave’s drumming influences include heroes Ringo Starr, John Bonham, and Tony Williams. Dave grew up in Oxford, Ohio where he learned drumming playing ice cream socials under the old water tower. Dave’s big ears and familiarity with a plethora of musical styles  are on display with Golden Goldner and the Roots of Rhythm.

Wild Bill

Littleford

Bill Littleford has made music for 35 years. Born and raised in Maryland near DC, he established himself as a local Cincinnati area guitar teacher and performer in his early 20s. In addition to his solo material he has performed and recorded with The Tadcasters, Kick the Blue Drum, Moonlight Graham, and the Bill Littleford Trio as well as various other groups. His vast knowledge of roots and blues music is on display with Golden Goldner and Roots of Rhythm.
